About Me

I'm an entrepreneur, software engineer, mathematician, blogger/writer, and technology enthusiast in general that started my first company (AnySIMiPhones) when I was 12. I currently own, operate, and act as CEO/CTO/CFO/Chief Software Architect of iGUI Software, as well as own and act as CEO, CTO, and CFO of its parent company, Cutting Edge Technology. Additionally, I am in the beginning stages of creating a new investment research firm.

Cutting Edge Technology

Cutting Edge Technology is a parent company, under which I operate iGUI Software and other planned future subsidiaries. Basically, they operate in various areas of the electronics and technology industry; specifically, consumer electronics.

iGUI Software

iGUI Software (Pronounced "i-gooey" for you non-technical types - It's an abreviation for Graphical User Interface.) is my newest business venture, founded in March 2008. It's a software development company that is initially developing software for iPhone OS (includes iPod Touch) and Google's Android mobile operating system and eventually for Mac OS X, Windows, Linux, and possibly Google's Android mobile operating system and Windows Mobile. I currently have a few different projects in various stages of development, with our first application expected to be released to the iPhone/iPod Touch App Store within about a month. Unfortunately, I can't discuss any details of those applications now, but I'm certain most everyone will be fairly, if not extremely, impressed by them.

Investment Research

After formulating a mathematical expression to forecast the average monthly price of crude oil futures two months into the future as a part of my science fair project in eighth grade, I expanded on my work and created a commercially-viable platform with which to invest in oil futures and other commodities. Now I sell price forecasts and investment advice to private investors and am working with a number of large corporations operating in various fields throughout the commodities market.

AnySIMiPhones

I began my first company, AnySIMiPhones, in October 2007 at age 12. Essentially, the company sold the iPhoneSIMfree iPhone unlocking software, as well as iPhones that had been unlocked using the software. A few weeks after starting the company, I sold it to another iPhone unlocking company, FreeIt4Less, for whom I then began to work.

FreeIt4Less

FreeIt4Less, of whom I was an employee for around four months during the height of the iPhone unlocking industry after selling my company, AnySIMiPhones, to, was the world's largest iPhoneSIMfree reseller. They unlocked something like 10,000 iPhones! As a proud member of the four-person team behind the company, I did everything from email- and phone-based sales and technical support to maintenance of the AnySIMiPhones, as well as handled all of our mail-in unlocks, whereby customers who didn't want to mess with unlocking their iPhones themselves could send us the phone to unlock for them. Shortly after my original boss left the company and as the industry began to decline because of phones with newer baseband firmware that couldn't be unlocked with iPhoneSIMfree but rather with free, albeit less robust, solutions, as well as due to rumors of a new iPhone around the corner, I left the company in March 2008 to pursue other interests. A few short months after my departure, the company shut down operations completely.

FreeIt4Less to Present

Following my departure from FreeIt4Less, I operated a small iPhone unlocking operation on my own for about a month, until Apple's announcement of the new iPhone 3G and its availability in countries other than the US. This small business consisted mostly of mail-in unlock services. During this same time and for a few months afterwards, I also operated a small Web design firm, Free Business Web Design, through which I designed and hosted a number of Web sites for commercial clients. Since then, I have worked almost exclusively on a number of software engineering projects, culminating in the projects that are currently in development at iGUI Software, where I now devote most of my time.
